Pau D' Arco Inner Bark is from Pau D' Arco trees grown in various rainforests in Latin America, and is used for medicinal purposes. Natives to Central and South America would use the bark to treat: cancer, lupus, infectious diseases, and other wounds and health conditions. Carribean natives would also use the bark for backaches, toothaches, sexually transmitted diseases, and as an aphrodisiac. Today it is mostly used for infections, and yeast infectiions.
Pau d'arco is a tree native to Brazil and other South American countries. It is also referred to as Lapacho and valued for its many benefits.
